Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matthew is still refusing to eat. I don't know what else I can possiablely do. Please pray that there will be some peace for him and for Esau. At the end of my rope I know only God/Jesus can do the impossiable.

What size is your tank? smaller than 2.5. I moved him from a 2.5 cause he has been going downhill.

Food
What type of food do you feed your betta fish? betta bio gold and tried feeding him Omega one like several people said to do

How often do you feed your betta fish? He will not eat tried to feed him again today.

Maintenance

How often do you perform a water change? Just changed his water

What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? They all get aqua safe

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? Got brown black on his tail and fins

How has your betta fish's behavior changed? He is refusing to eat anything at all

When did you start noticing the symptoms? Maybe a month or so

Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? Tried Aquasalt and has seemed to help at all

Does your fish have any history of being ill? Not that I know of

I know pellets are what's recommended, but my guy hates them passionately. Maybe try bloodworm? No nutritional value.. but it might encourage him to eat again. Red won't eat pellets, so I fish the shrimp out of a container of BettaMin Tropical Medley. Or, I have to give him Brine Shrimp.

I mean.. That's what I would try. I'm sorry about Matthew. I hope something improves... :(

Unhappy

I've tried all those he will not eat at all I don't know what else to do. Trying to accept the fact there's a big chance of losing him. I'm at the end of my rope, guys.

I'm not entirely sure of what else could be wrong with him

The only other thing I can think of is if you have a heater in there with him or not? If you do have a heater, what is the temperature of the tank? I see you have a sticky thermometer there

Also, how often do you try to feed them and do you let one pellet in at a time and wait for him to eat it? Or try to?

Relax, bettas can survive a few weeks without food; he'll be just fine. Honestly, I think you're worrying so much over nothing.

I would stop with the aquarium salt and do a 100% change, if it's still in the QT tank. Have you tried the garlic juice? Just dip his food in it and try to feed him; the garlic will entice him to eat and enhance the flavor.
