So Lychee, now is a year old, for those who remember him and such, has grown into this big purple/pink man-fish.
About recently, I'd say 2 weeks ago or more, I noticed how "scared" he has been getting. He constantly hides when I come up to his tank, and though he DOES eat, I have to be careful not to show my hands or barely move when dropping his food in, or he goes and hides. He also just seems worn out by it all and sits under his bridge hiding a lot. I'm wondering if he's freaking out over something I'm just not seeing, like a light movement, or a reflection in the tank.
I'm kinda at a loss here trying to figure out if there's a way I can try and "un-scare" him and hope he perks up to his once self.
Any experience in something similar?
Is this something with age?
I need to clean his tank today too...like BADLY, and I'm a bit afraid I'll make him scared even more moving things around, or even moving him into another tank.
