OK. I understand....

How often do you change the water in Esau's tank?

It's important to keep the water clean and warm, and feed him good food.

1) What size tank is he in right now?
2) What is the water temperature?
3) When did you change the water last?
4) Is he eating ok?

Why did you start another thread on Esau when this one is still going? Please stop doing that, as it makes it very confusing to follow what others have advised you to do.

You're allergic to Sulfa, so am I. I believe Maracyn has Sulfa in it (although I've used it without problems). Can you get API Tetracycline?

Haven't got to go to store yet. Still been using Epsom salt like you guys told me to do. Now someone else is telling me to use Aquiaum salt again. So tell me the truth will Esau live or am I just prolonging this in Hopes he gets better.

No one can tell you if he's going to die or not. But, what I can say is it sounds like he needs an antibiotic. You need to pick something up at the store. When you are at the store, I would pick up API Tetracycline, API General Cure, and API Furan II.

ETA: I'm not saying USE all those. You should have them on hand in case your fish gets sick again.

AETA: It was 3 days ago that LBF told you to go to either PetSmart or Wal-Mart. You say, "still been using salt like you told me to do." But 3 days ago you were advised to pick up other treatments.

I don't have a way to the store until someone takes me. I can't drive and plum my mom has my card that my money is on. By the way how much do they cost? So I've been doing what I can for in the time being. Also thinking of maybe picking up some clove oil just in case.

Medications vary in price between about $10.00-$20.00 depending on the medication. I would sit down with your mom and say, "Esau is sick, I need to go to PetSmart or PetCo now. If you let me take on the responsibility of an animal I need to take on that responsibility completely. That includes getting medication when they are ill."

I would PM LBF and include the images you posted in your previous post. Ask what medications LBF would recommend. I would recommend Tetracycline, because it is available at PetSmart, and it's something that shouldn't cause you any allergy problems. However, if you can get to a LFS instead I would get Furan II.
