Question Fishless cycling tank

So I been cycling my 10 gallon tank for 2 weeks now going onto third week on Sunday. Man you guys have no idea how much I smile when I'm able to say in have a 10 GALLON!!! But anyways I been dosing ammonia every time it goes down below 2ppm. So yes I do keep it around 4 or 5 ppm. I also have been adding stress zyme + 2 doses for every week (every sunday) does this help? or is it just something i fell for? it just adds bacteria (BB) But I only will be having my betta in the tank. How long does this take? I'm a little too excited for my tank and want it now! Then again good things do take time. So I was hoping someone can shed some light on this...thank you!

Congrats on the 10g. Cycling a tank can tank 8 wks give or take. Most people seem to have the best results with Tetra safe start or Dr Tim's One & Only. Any BB starter is a hit & miss, some have great success & others not. 2 wks isn't long at all & you still have the nitrite phase to go through which can last 3 wks give or take. Bottom line; cycling a tank takes as long as it takes. . . .
