Female Bettas

I recently got a female betta but have a little more room for a second should i go for it or will they fight .

you can try and get a second, it might work great but then again it might fail. Of course you can try though

My sister has three in the same tank (seems to be the magic number) and they chase after the smaller one a little. You could try putting 2 in the same tank but they will probably fight.

i have breed beta and you need three to every male, more than that they rip his fins off and kill him, less than that he kills them!
but if you dont have a male?
i'd get three or more because i actually think the females are more agressive than the males!

I agree. I was terribly disappointed when my female betta along with the blue ram managed to finish off several tetras.

P.S. Thread moved. Bettas are anabantids, not cyprinids.:)
