My first Plakat

I bought this guy... I haven't seen a Plakat that I just HAD to have, but he spoke to me. I love this little guy and will probably be buying him a tank with hood so he doesn't jump out. But here he is, I will be getting a nice looking orange female to breed him to, and may cross to one of my HM females.

I hope to reproduce him in his offspring.

What a beauty you have there Lamb, I think Plakats are my favorite type of Betta. Good luck in finding a the perfect female to breed him with, I just adore his colors !

Thanks everyone! I'm quite excited. I'm hoping that the orange female will be recessive enough for some offspring to look just like dad. If not, I'll breed back to him, and breed siblings that look most like him. I'm very excited about him. :)

The seller has 2 sibling males. I think I'm starting to like PKs a bit more than HMs.

This guy is the one I almost got . But I went with another one that is just blue and white with blue eyes.

Yes I agree I never was much into PK but now it seems like the long fin bettas are just getting too long. I have 3 hmpk with big ears. They are very active and entertaining.
