My betta's acting a bit wack...o.o

Okay so I've looked around, and I can't really seem to find an answer to please me...
But my betta recently has been acting weird...like he doesn't eat a lot anymore (he used to be a pig), but he swims around like crazy...
I was thinking he was constipated, but why would he move around a lot?
I've been feeding him flakes...(I'm buying bloodworms soon), and I have a 1 gallon tank for him (buying a new tank soon).
He used to eat flakes a lot...seemed to actually like them (fed 1-2 flakes each time, 2-3 times a day).
He usually doesn't move that much...I don't have a heater...yeah I know I should get one...My fish is just like freaking out a lot lately.

Oh yeah, he isn't taking any dumps either...like he usually does... I mean my other betta takes massive dumps...which I think is normal...o.O right?
But the one that's acting weird just stopped pooing and swims around like mad.

He looks normal...He's just acting weird/not eating/not pooing.

He could be constipated. If he doesn't want to eat, don't try and make him. He won't starve, bettas can go a few weeks with out food. You might just need to fast him for a few days, but if it gets worse or continues it could be more serious.

Yeah, he's not too bloated, and we haven't really fed him the past two days. I just put in 1 flake to see if he would eat it...which he did...but he usually eats it in like 3 bites. Now he eats the flake really slowly...

If he's otherwise active he's probably fine
if he has a tad of bloat, fast him for a few days,

If he's in a tank with gravel or covering then maybe your just no seeing it, (the poo)
you can always put him in a bare bottom tank/bowl for a few days and see if he is in fact pooing

Yeah, he's in a bare-bottom (okay like a couple of rocks) bowl, that's why I was really noticing that he wasn't pooing. But I just won't feed him for like 2 more days...

hmmm... mayb replace him in a bigger tank? all of my bettas are in at least a 2 gal each or larger.... and small piece of pea... but do that soon if he is bloated... one of my betta died from bloat to the max... died in 2 weeks :(... and my other one died from dropsy. a few of my bettas did exactly what yours did.. and they died a week or two later.... but this happened when I didn't know about heaters... the heaters help alot... get the mini heater since he is in a small tank
