Red face Betsy's a boy! I'm SOO embrassed!

So I saw "Betsy" in my tank and I saw that it was a boy! So his name is now Bruno!

If it's short finned and has an ovipositor or egg spot then its a female.

I bought a female at Wal-Mart because she looked so pityful, turns out it was a short finned male.

Walmart sells fish?! Did not know that. I never go to Walmart, it's not far yet it turns out to be a 20+ minute drive to get there and just not worth the effort.

I think it just depends on the size of the Walmart. I have one near me that doesn't at it is on the small-ish size and another that does sell them and it is a newer, larger Wally World. Though I don't know if I'd buy fish from there...maybe bettas if they looked really good.

Be happy if your Walmart doesn't sell fish...seriously. It is just terrible at mine.
