Sudden White Film/Fuzz

My older betta has also gotten some white substance on his head that looks like fuzz or slime. His top fin and tail are a bit clamped but other than that he seems perfectly fine. The little girl has some white and red looking stuff around her gills too. Should I be concerned they got some kind of bacterial infection from each other?

A picture would help with diagnosis and will determine whether the issue is a contagious disease or whether it is environmental.

I'm not sure what you are talking about with the sticky; though I did read the common question threads and didn't see anything that seemed to match. I will try to get a picture of them tonight, hopefully they will stay still long enough...

Actually when I went to take pictures of them, everything seemed to be back to normal. They are moving around being active and there isn't any noticeable white on them. They might have just been cold. Sorry to waste your time
