New and new Betta!

I just purchased my second Betta today. I am ready to learn more about the proper care of these fish, as well as learning more about mine in particular. Here are a few pictures of him below. Please let me know the type and if he has a specific color if you can. He does have some caudal fin damage, but he is so pretty I could't resist! The second picture shows more of the damage. Thank you in advance for your help
The Random Betta at the End is P. Sherman I have had him for over a year.

Your first betta looks like a sold variation meaning he is pure white or clear. He also has a mask meaning his fac is the same color as his body. He is also a elephant ear and a delta or super delta.

So his coloring is a masked solid variation
His fin type for his side fins are elephant ear
Ad for tailtype delta or super delta
Idk for second. It's defiantly a crown tail but need a better pic to say its color. Maybe a bicolor or multicolor

Thank you for your insight. I was also curious how long his tail will be when it grows back?

He actually looks like a Plakat.. I mean to me. Just with the way his anal fin is so pointed. Warm, clean water, and a bit of extra TCL should have his fins healing in no time. ^_^

+1 to Jarick. That's a lovely boy you have there! You'll be able to tell if he's a HMPK when he flares... look to see if his caudal fin's spread reaches 180* or not. I'm betting he's HMPK. As for how long his caudal will be, it won't get much longer than it already is, since he's PK.

I disagree that he's pure white, I think he's going to color up on you a bit. I'm pretty sure I see some faint butterfly bands, so I'd be eager to see what he looks like in a week or two once he's been in warm, clean water for a while! Great find, congrats on him!
