vacation and feeding

Hi,

if I'm going on vacation and I have somebody who feeds the fish twice a week and changes about 50% of the water every time (my 2 betta girls live in 2 about 1.5 gal. bowls), how many pellets should he feed them?

I usually feed 4 pellets a day (morning 2, evening 2) and they have about 2 fasten days. Would 4 pellets at each feeding during vacantion be ok or will they overeat, when they eat all 4 pellets right away? And would 8 pellets a week for 3 weeks be also ok for the fish or will they starve?

Would 50% water change twice a week also be ok during that time?

I'm in the same situation as you. I'm leaving mine for 2 weeks and having someone come in twice a week. They won't be doing water changes on 6 fish but will be feeding them2 pellets twice a week. I think this will be ok. Less food = less poop.
