Help Please! Concerned Betta Mom!

Hi All!

I am hoping for some insight as to why my bettas dorsal fin and pectoral fin have turned color. Ive tried reading up on it but none of it seems to fit. I have included pics(as attachments). As you can see in one pic it is vibrant blue and the color change in the other. He seems to be acting the same and is quite active and eating as normal. Up until now he has thrived since Ive had him as he has doubled in size! He regularly gets a tank cleaning and also has a water warmer. Can anyone help?

This seems to be getting more and more common and so far I see no links in cause but I know it's not harmful and it won't hurt him. There's a posibility it's just a marble gene but since this is the fourth blue Betta I've seen that's had his dorsal turn white....idk! But so far there haven't been reports of it falling off or anything so I'm sure he'll be just fine! It's just a new little addition ^_^

Well, since you said he's still active and still eating and everything, I think he should be fine. Many bettas change colour. :D Plagueis, mine, had very dark red fins and now they're brighter.

Oh really?!?! Well that's new and interesting!! Make sure to take lots of photos to track his progress, it may just very well be a marble gene in this case then!
