My two bettas

These are my two boys. One I think is a white pearl "Opal" and the red one "Jack", I think might be a king betta. He is much bigger than my white one. Finally figured out how to send pictures up. Would have better pictures of Jack, but he is hard to catch with a camera. I took these with my camera phone.

I thought a veil tails had longer fins than my red one does. I ended up with him because he was different looking than most of the others available at the time.

The camera phone doesn't capture colors as well as a good camera does. I've got much better pictures on my good camera.

I mostly saw Jack's electric blue fins and he was really active and seemed to want a home. Opal was one I spotted at a pet supplies plus. He was way too pretty to be stuck in a half gallon display. I know Opal is more of a girl name, but it was the only thing that seemed right with the colors. Named for the stone, not the gender.

Jack is very interesting. He looks like a VT with a damaged caudal, as you can see his caudal has some regrowth coming in and it isn't done growing. His anal fin is quite short though compared to most VT's. Also his dorsal looks more like a PK. He could be a PK or a round tail...maybe it will be easier to tell once his tail finishes growing in.
