Is this common?

I just rigged my strong filter to a low flow filter. It works great with my little guy. I've notice that he has been hanging out near the current. He sort of "plays" with it.
The current is only right next to the filter, otherwise the rest of the tank is still.
Is he just enjoying the current? Is that common for Bettas to like? Is his personality showing through there?

I think its normal for him to swim through the current. mine does it alot. I have a filter with low water flow too. I love the names of your bettas.

Mine has a current that is too strong. I only turn it on at night when he's pretty inactive anyway.
But he STILL sometimes plays in his current, even though he can barely stay in place with it.

mine finds it more settled on the other side of the tank, he seems to rest happliy. makes his bubble nests. when hes in the mood.

Just to let you know Dante and Atticus are my two sons. Rex is my Betta.

My betta does this too! He also flares at the filter box. He seems to enjoy the current actually. He will put himself right under it..... :)
