Anyone with monster cichlids?

I had a jaguar/dovii hybrid cichlid. He was 14 inches long in a 75. I bought him as someone's trade in. Think they might have gotten tired of the tank being destroyed on a regular basis. I was very attached to him, my husband called him "Jag" and that was what stuck. He was the absolute favorite cichlid I had ever had. He was smart enough to play with the cleaning magnet and various fishing floats I put in for him to amuse himself with. Bit hard enough to draw blood, but I like the attitude of a large cichlid. I have kind of given up on large fish since he died. Now I just have 2 bettas, love them like kids. Certainly safer to play with than Jag, bettas don't have teeth like a piranha.
