When going to get more food for Rex, I saw a gorgeous CT at the store. I saw they had a deal on a 10 gallon tank too!

I'm thinking about getting the 10 gallon and get the CT. I'm thinking about getting a divider and get another betta to go in with him. Would a female or another male be a better match in a 10 gallon with a divider?

I saw a cute little female there that I would love to get as well! I know I need to do this soon, because I'm sure that CT won't be there for long!

I don't think it would matter if it's a male or female as long as the tank is divided and they can't get to each other.

Sounds like a good setup,

One major flaw, the fish can easily get diseases from one another, so quarentine them first.

Just throwing out there that you deffinitly can divide a 10 between a male and female, Im doing it for the last month or so with no flaws, except maybe the male grows use to the female and wont breed with her, only possible flaw.

Just keep plants and stuff along the divider so they can't see each other much.

You can make your own or buy one at Petsmart or other petstores. I think there iare instructions on the DIY section of the forum, under aquarium resources, I think.
