Super Delta?

Just wondering if my boy is a super delta? He is very hard to catch flaring, he gets very worked up lol. This pic I caught right after the flare.

Try giving him a female. Maybe that will help him flare and for you to find out the true answer to your question.

Oh, then you should know if he is a super delta or hm lol. According to tail spread, hm should be 180 degrees. Anything less than that is considered super delta to delta.

The question isn't about getting him to flare. The question is, based on this picture, can anybody identify what he is? Im not familiar enough with bettas to be 100% positive, but I had him flaring literally a second before I took it.

Based on the picture, he's a super delta.

To get the full spread, the betta needs to flare. That's what whatsupyall was trying to explain. Your betta needs to flare so it's a definite answer.

Every time I show him the mirror he flares but then quickly dashes around in a heated frenzy lol. That's why this is the best picture I have so far :P
