Sorry, no pictures, but in my Male's tank, I had a mini Lilly plant that was barely surviving. I had to turn off his filter due to his chronic SBD, and I have to put a lot more food in there than he can eat so that he has the chance to get just one without getting tired (I have a lot of places for him to rest on up high, but his aim is off when it comes to eating, so he'll dart around the surface for a while and may or may not get a pellet). The other day, I added more bulbs to his tank because I felt he needed more hiding places. The next day, the original Lilly plant sprouted tons more leaves, and the ones that were there are suddenly huge??
Is this because of the new bulbs or the fact that I don't always get the excess food out of his tank as soon as I should (I try, but I'm working insane hours right now, and I can't wait to see what he eats and doesn't eat - I drop in pellets and go). He's in a 5 gallon, and he gets a water change 2 -3 times weekly since his filter is off.
