Divided 20 Long

Wanted to show you how I divided my 20 long so I have an invert area in the middle. Divider holes are .25" and the Pygmy Cories and RCS and BVS (Blue Velvet Shrimp) can go through them. I stuffed Java Moss between the back of the dividers and the tank walls; about 1/8".

The Bettas are in there; trust me.

That looks really good. Bettas and other fish/shrimp must really like it.

Thank you. It's on my end table so I get to enjoy them up close and personal.

that's so awesome! Similar to a set up I was considering...maybe I should have gone with that haha. Do you not worry that bettas will get through that gap? Anything a pygmy cory could get through sounds like the sort of thing mine would try stuff their heads in! Are there two or three bettas in this set up?

Thank you. There are three Bettas (Si, Little Willie and MG). The Bettas can't get their heads into the holes. As a matter of fact, I haven't seen them even investigating them. I don't think they know they're there.

For those interested, I forgot to mention I used these to hold the dividers on the back wall only. They have two clear suction cups with a guide in the middle. The divider is almost flush with the back wall. I filled the 1/8" gap in with Java Moss.

Thank you, guys. It was my first attempt at aquascaping and I'm pretty pleased with it. Everybody seems happy and it's funny how the RCS have picked out their own little niche near the Cholla in the front. It has Anubias nana petite tied to it with fishing line.

I forgot to mention, nearly all the plants came from Heather at www.plantedaquariumscentral.com
