I'm planning ahead for power outages because we get them frequently. When they last more than half a day, we have to evacuate to a hotel. I'm planning on getting a 1/2 gallon (or probably a half-filled one gallon for more surface area and swimming space) Kritter Keeper as a travel home for my betta during these hotel stays. It seems to me that a mini-heater would be a good temporary heater for that small amount of water. I've seen a few different "betta bowl" type heaters. That's great! We didn't have those back in the day. Is there a brand that stands out as most reliable? It seems like 10W would be the max for a small container...I'm afraid anything higher would overheat the water.
