Thinking of getting a 10 gallon

and splitting it for Zeus and the new guy who has no name still lol. I am gonna check out my lfs see how much they are there and if they have dividers. Would it be better to put a female on one side or a male? does it matter lol. would one heater be enough? In fishys 10,I had to get a 75w cause a 50w wasnt heating it properly at all. Hope I dont have to buy yet another heater.

one heater should be fine. I don't think he matters they will still flare at eachother male or female. Except if you put a female on the other side, the female may get randy and fill with eggs, causing your male to attempt to build a big bubble nest. Also it is way cheaper to make your own divider.

So I went to wally world. Two of them actually cause the first one didnt have any in. 36.72 or something like that for it. Good deal! Had to go back to lfs for a divider. They had a pretty orange betta on the counter...so want him. LOL

Yes you should. He was pretty. There were two,but the other one was gone when I went back for the divider. Stupid people there stick em in vases with bamboo plants.
Anyways,my boys are set up in their 10 gallon tank. Zeus isnt real happy about it. New guy is thrilled though. I got piccies coming up! I didnt put the filter that came with it on yet,I couldnt figure out how it went together LOL. I will work on it.
