Somethings Wrong...

So I cleaned my bettas tank today, doing a 100% change since he's currently in a 1 gallon (vacation). I put in the the stuff for the chlorine, rinsed his plant off and rinsed the rocks. I checked the temperature and let him get acclimated to the water. Once I put him back in he won't veer from the top of the tank and it appears that he can't get enough air. He even turned silver in his face a little when he was put back in. He's not his normal vivacious self and I'm hoping nothing is wrong with him even though I sense there is. Anyone have any suggestions of what could be wrong or what I should do?

And your sure you put in conditioner??

And you didn't clean the tank with soap or anything?

I dont know....What do you have on the top of the 1 gallon

I never clean the rocks with soap in my 1 gallons but I do in the 10 gallons

Soap should never be used on anything that comes in contact with fish. I knew someone who did this and she ended up killing 5 or 6 bettas because she wouldn't take my advice to not do this.

Its a special kind of Betta soap that I bought online....
