In need of some advice.Fin rot?

I am doing weekly 25% water changes weekly(2 1/2 gal tank), My Betta is very active and is very playful. This evening I noticed that there is a separation in the middle of his fin and the ends look like fin rot. Tested the water and found no problems water temp is good, regardless I paniced and did a full water change, cleaned every thing in his tank and new filter media & added salt. Is there something more I can do? He still looks happy and active, this is new to me and want to be sure that I'm doing the right things for proper care. Took some pic's could use expert advice.

His fin are about the same length but the edges were even & smooth.

In a 2 1/2 gallon tank I would do a 50% change once a week and a full change once a month.

Will change to 50% and a full change once a month. Will he recover his fins?

He might....Does he have anything that he could snagg his fins on??

His fins should regrow as long as the water is kept clean.

Made sure that all his decor is safe, no sharp edges.Should I get Betta Fix?

I've had success with Betta Fix but other members haven't.

The water has salt added ,can Betta Fix be added as well?
