Bettas often don't eat the first few days after you bring them home. Its perfectly normal so don't panic. :)

They might not eat the first few days, but if he keeps spitting them back out they either need to get used to the food (which can take up to 5 days) or you can try something else.

Two of my Bettas are picky about WHICH pellets they will eat. They love the Hikari Betta Bio-Gold pellets.
They can go a few days without eating, so don't get too worked up.

My female, Blue Bonnet doesn't like Bio gold. She kept spitting it out so I got her Wardley pellets and she likes those better. She munches those down! lol

They can go a couple of weeks without food but I think yours will start eating within a few days. He just needs to get used to his new home. :) You might try new food after a week or so.You're welcome!

Most people feed their bettas 2-3 pellets 2 times a day.
