Exclamation Female seems to be a picky eater...

Hi Everyone,
I just got my first Betta and followed all of the rules for a good habitat for her. She is a tiny female. I was wondering how much she should be eating and how often i should feed her. They reason i ask is because i have seen her try and eat the pellets that i put in, but i'm worried they are too big. So i switched to flakes, which she just ate a little bit of. Like one flake. I dont know if this is enough for her. When i tried the pellet again this morning, she saw it and followed it around as it floated but didnt eat it...please help! Thank you!

I just checked the cup i got her in and it says she is a Betta Splenden.

you could try the baby pellets. My girls were too small to eat the regular pellets for awhile. now they can handle them. Some feed twice a day, some once. I do once a day.

I had to buy Hikari micro pellets for Blue Bonnet because I thought the Bio gold was too big for her. It turned out that she spit them out because she didn't like them. So I bought her Wardley's. She ate those then I decided to play a trick on her to see if she could tell the difference. When I put the Bio gold in her tank, she ate it AND the Wardley's. lol
