Is my baby too skinny?

I was just reading in another post and someone mentioned that their fish looked too skinny (commenting on another's photo)

So now I am wondering- is my baby too skinny?

TIA!

She looks fine to me she could probably be fed a tad bit more but overall she does look pretty healthy!

Oh good.
Ok- we'll give her a few more morsels throughout the day.

We've had her for about three weeks and she is always in great spirits! She is friendly and curious and always game for anything!

PS (Do you think she's a girl?)

Thanks!

Cute!! Yeah she's a girl Fairly certain I see ovaries growing and the fins are quite short for her age to be a boy ^_^

And that's great, yeah 3 meals a day is usually a good thing to follow for babies and then just whatever they'll eat in 30 seconds to a minute. Don't gut them, meaning giving them food until they're bellies look like they'll burst but try to get it so their bellies are just nice a round. Just slightly more than she looks now will be great!

What are you feeding if I might ask?

She was eating Omega One Betta Buffet and I just started alternating with New Life Spectrum. She is not too interested in eating the NLS but she LOVES playing with the pellets!! She will chase them and push them all over her tank. I've started crushing the pellets to maybe make it easier for her to chew them but she doesn't seem that into them as a food source.

Okay that's great! Yeah, you can continue the Omega and just try the NLS from time to time to see if she'll take it. Once she realizes that it's food she'll probably eat anything haha

If you try to get some Frozen Foods, that will really help too, you can feed them a few times a week and it's a good source of protein and stuff ^_^
