Yah I would return the instigator, then buy a different one so you dont have too few.

Well, she started it and then they all started getting too aggressive. I know having Sororities are tough and you never know what will happen.
I think I'm just going to stick with dividing the 10 gallon with the two girls and returning the other three.

I'm sorry it didn't work out. They MIGHT have calmed down after awhile but if the fighting was getting too bad then it's best that you separated them.

Ahh Im kinda getting worried now about making a sorority, ive been reading around and it seems everyones is not going as planned. Im going to have to find crowntail and see how that one went.

Yeah, it's all a hit or miss. I'm excited to get my two new girls, just sad that the whole Sorority didn't work.
I hope that if you do decide to do it, it will work for you.

Well, you never know about these things. Sometimes they work and sometimes they dson't.

With the tank I just added girls to they all did fight for a couple day, I was afraid I was going to have to remove my first female," it was her tank" and she at first did not like the new additions.
She claimed her dominance over everyone and things quickly settled down.
Maybe with some more time to establish a pecking order, it would work out. Of coarse you would not want them to kill each other in the process.
I do have a few nipped fins, but I think with some extra water changes they will all heal up.

Yeah, they DO need to establish a pecking order but you don't want anyone killed in the process.
