my betta is not eating at all

hi ppl i need a lot of help my betta is not eating at all it been at least 2 days now and it still didn't eat. I feed it freeze dried blood worms from topfin plz help me.

How long have you had your betta? Bettas sometimes won't eat if you just got them because they are stressed. It'll be fine. Give your betta some time - they can go weeks without food. My betta actually won't eat Topfin foods (pellets, bloodworms, etc). But you should be feeding your betta 2-3 pellets twice a day and making bloodworms once a week or so.

dr2b i got my betta a few days ago and i was thinking of eeding it live blooworms should i feed it everyday or give it betta pellet foods also?

you should give it betta pellets everyday and bloodworms as a treat, maybe once a week.

My betta Kiro didnt eat for a week after I got him, so you shouldnt be worried, he's probably just stressed from being in a new place.

Hikari Betta BioGold pellets is what most of us here on the forum use, Wardleys is also a pretty good brand.

i live in canada as well, and yes you can get them at any petsmart in canada. they are placed in the betta aisle. if i remember correctly they last time i went inside, they were $3.99CAD. i wouldn't remember exactly because they had a sale on those and i had to go to Big Al's to get mine.

an advice i would give to you is to soak the 2-4 pellets in a little container for 5-6 minutes before you give it to your betta. it's really hard on their stomachs if it's too hard. it's annoying to wait, but it's worth watching them react when they see you. Fierce swims around and makes bubble nests all the time when i'm feeding him.
