First why would they put them in the SAME cup? Your gonna put 2 SIAMESE FIGHTING FISH in a VERY small space and expect them to be little finned Mother Teresas? Ya right!

Stress Coat! This will reduce stress and I use it as my regualr water conditioner. It also helps with regrowing of fins.

Methylenen Blue wouldn't be a bad option. You should move him to a bare jar and add 1 drop of this to his jar.

Ampicillin: I keep this incase an infection occurs (which has only happened once in my fish room). Good on gram positive and gram negative. So I'm always covered :)

I went to a Petco a few days ago and noticed that some of their fish were sick and a few were already dead, so I complained about it to the manager and the manager actually looked alarmed. I showed her few dead fish I found and the sick ones, and she said "What's wrong with our bettas?" and an assistant took some of the fish back and began to treat them. As I left, I noticed that the manager herself was slowly and carefully inspecting the bettas. The next time I came in all the fish looked healthier then when I left them.

It sounds like the manager actually cared. I found a sick one at my Petsmart one time and showed it to an employee in the fish department. She said "oh, the poor thing looks bad. I'll take him to our infirmary right away. " I wanted to go back a few days later and check on him but I never was able to get over there.

Yeah, I think the manager once had a fish, because she told me about the change in female betta fish behavior.

Oh right, the manager told me that she noticed that brightly colored females seem to be more aggressive and more 'male like" then dull colored females, because they keep flaring up at the sight of other females. That is why I don't recommend a sorority tank, unless all the fish are sisters from the same brood, and even then I'm not sure if it will work.
