I went to one of the 3 local Petsmarts around me and checked out the Betta. One stood out the most. He was a veiltail. He was light blue and white. I wanted to take him home then and there.
I swear I just need to stop looking at them when I go!

I know how you feel. I have to go to walmart tomorrow to get some stuff for fishy. RIGHT IN THE FRIGGIN FISH SECTION. Ugh. I won't have money for one but I already know I'll be whining about wanting one of them.

They are so darn addictive. Plus, the more I look the more gorgeous the Betta get that I see.

lol I'm scared that I'm going to see a really gorgeous one, or one that needs rescuing badly...and I'll get money from my family and tell them that I'll pay them back. Ahhh! lol

At this point, it's a space issue. I always say I have no space, and then find it! Now, I really couldn't even think of a place to put another tank unless it's a small one (like around 2 gallons). *sigh*

Well fishy seems to have fin rot, so I'm putting him back in his 1 gal with some salt to treat it. It doesn't seem bad enough for meds. But I still want to treat him. It's not bad enough to notice unless you stare. But anyways, I've got a one gallon tank, a three gallon bowl, and a vase. So technically I've got three other homes. lol. I'm getting a ten gallon soon too, and I'm splitting it in half to house 2 bettas. I've got the room, but not all the supplies and the money to buy more bettas. haha

I end up getting the tank kits since they have everything and they can usually end up being cheaper then buying everything separately. :)

I love having 10 gallon divided. They make then tanks more lively and I love how they play with each other.

Thats why bettas are so addicting. The more you have, the more you want. lol I wouldn't mind having one more.

Yeah, I love my betta's. I never knew I would like them so much! I decided to get a betta because I figured I would keep in in a small container. Then, before I got the betta, I saw a 2.5 tank with supplies on sale. Ok, I figured it would be a good home for a betta. When weeks pass and I eventually fill the tank and put the fish in, I wasn't so addicted. Then my 2.5. tank cracks, so I put him in a 1 gallon. Then I get a 10g for him, and now I have 2 pretty bettas! Now everytime I go to a petstore, I can't stand not looking at the betta fish. Last week I saw a red white and blue one. I can't remember what kind it was tho. It wasn't a vt, maybe a crown? Not sure. Anyway it was so beautiful, but I had no room for it. I will get another one someday! Wow I really am getting addicted.
