wtf is this??

When i bought Akiyo, i looked him over and didnt see anything physically wrong with him. The fish section in petco is pretty dark and once i got home i realized he has what looks like an old injury to his right side. Its right behind his little fin. Well i took an even better look today and saw that its raised from his body! Heres a few pictures. Anyone know what it is, and what i can do about it??

Thank you Drama Queen, im glad someone else is aware..................And Philip, your title is what i have an issue with........."WTF" is not appropriate language for an all age forum..........If you would like to talk like that, go down to the docks and ask the dockworkers and drunken sailors your fish questions, im sure they would appreciate your form of so-called language.................Mr Hurricane, just because kids use the same language doesnt make it right now does it?

I think complaining about the "WTF" in this post is inappropriate. You should PM this person, and confront them personally. The question at hand should be discussed.

I'm not sure what this "growth" could be, but maybe you could treat it as fungal or bacterial? Maybe use some Jungle Fungus Eliminator? I hope it goes away soon! Good luck.

I agree with AngelicScars! Pm the person!
I also agree with her/him on the prob! Treat it as a fungal or bacterial prob! Remove everything from his bowl, then do a 100% w/c..Clean good. Then see what happens next! Hope this helps....

If the person in question would read the forum guidelines we wouldnt even be having this discussion..........I'm not gonna waste my time IMing them or sending them a message about their language usage..........Its inappropiate for a public forum.........The administrators are the ones who moderate the site, IMO........They should handle the mis-use of this forum
