jees im sorry i used a commonly used acronym.

thank you to the people who replied with information about what this thread was actually meant for. Im actually kind of worried about my fish and dont need to be lectured and told to go to the docks to ask about a problem with my betta. I dont see a problem with using an acronyn instead of the actual word, but i like it here and i appologize and wont do it again.

i agree, if you had a problem with it just PM me. Dont fill my thread with non sense thats not helpful at all. It was really disappointing to have been freaking out about my fish and hear watch your language over and over and over again. I tried to change the topic name but couldnt.

Would betta revive help with the fungus at all??

I'm not sure what Betta Revive treats but its worth a try. Please everyone, lets just forget about the foul language thing and move on. Apologies were made so lets just try to see what we can do to help the fish.

Yeah, you could try that, too. Clean water is very important, also.

Yeah just add that with clean water and see what happens. Also take everything out of his tank: Plants/Decor and wash really good to get whatever bacteria is on it, off

I was told bettafix, melafix and pimafix are no good for bettas. It can inhibit their breathing. Go with junglelabs fungus stuff. Or you can get medicated fish food. I am using maraycin and maraycin two for fin rot, that may help your lil guy. He sure is pretty. Morado has a mark like that on him,but I never really thought about it. Hmm..maybe I should have...

No, I wouldn't use Bettafix. They really don't care for it, and it's mostly for finrot.
Jungle Fungus Eliminator is a good one and it helps a large range of things.
I know I couldn't find it in stores and had to order it online. Maybe you'd luck out and find it some where locally. If not, I would get it online.
There could be other products similar to the JFE that are in store that are just as effective. Good luck!

I have also read that about Melafix, Pimafix and Betta Fix. Betta Fix is just a milder version of Melafix. Some say they've had no problem with it and others say it hurt or killed their fish.
