Hi i just want to know which fish can be add with a betta fish in a 2.5 g tank or a 10 g tank. If i can hear all your thoughts guy's that will be great.

Hi. I would only keep the betta by itself in a 2.5 gallon (that's what size tank I have). You can have some tank mates in a 10 gallon. Cories seem to get along well and maybe neons but maybe other members can chime in who keep their bettas with other fish. It really depends on the personality of your betta. Some get along well with others and some don't.

Nothing in a 2.5 gallon, but a 10 would be fine for tankmates.

I think the best thing would probably be bottom feeding like Otos or Cories.
You can put a few of one or the other in a ten gallon with a Betta.
I plan on getting about 5 Otos to put in with my female Betta in a 10 gallon tank. Good luck!

Yeah, nothing can live with a Betta in a 2.5 gal. I tried ghost shrimp and feeder guppies a week or two back... and they got relocated to the goldfish tank outside the same day. Tian-Tian even chased one of the shrimps OUT of the water so the poor thing was sticking to the lid of the tank! Best leave your Betta alone. :)
