My betta is in a 10 gal with cherry shrimp and they are doing just fine together.
The tank is planted but the shrimp come out in the open and are left alone. I have baby shrimp every where but I have not seen the betta make a go for them.

I've never had shrimp in my tanks, but One betta did share a tank with some guppies when I was a kid.

Haha yah, my ghost shrimp and betta battle for food sometimes. Well more like my betta eats the food while my ghost shrimp swims around her trying to punch her with its six or eight legs (however many that little thing has). My betta always wins though, she just shakes him off clearly thinking "what are you doing you little tard I can eat you."

ok, then so if I were to put a betta and lets say a ghost shrimp in a 1.5 gallon tank, would that be fine?
