Question Tank set up question.

So I just set up the 10 gallon, I put in conditioner, aquarium salt then added my fin rot treatment for the boys. After the water gets to the right temp, can I put them in? Or do I have to wait time??

Well your supposed to wait about a month before you put the fish in to cycle it, but truthfully Ive never done it, not that you shouldnt but most bettas can survive it. If you dont plan on waiting the month for it to cycle you could get away with adding them immediatly but Id probably wait a day or so for the tank to settle out.

Yeah I've never done it with my 1 or 3 gallon, so I assumed to wait a few hours then I would. They seem alright. So I figured it would be okay to wait a bit then put them in. Thanks! I just felt I should ask.

Yeah, you can put them in as soon as it warms up enough.

I did. But I noticed when I put them in, that Fishy was missing two scales above his right eye. Do you think I stressed him? Or do you think he's sick now??

I think that sounds like a pre-existing condition.

It may be that he scraped himself on something.

So do you think I should just keep an eye on him? If it get's worse then I'll have to do something about it. He might have scratched himself on something in the big tank. He's been attacking it kinda...like he'll get in the corner, then jump up a little bit, like he's attacking the corner. weirdo

I'd keep an eye on it and if it gets worse then treat it.
