Bloodworms

So the PetSmart I bought my bloodworms from unfortunately did not come in convenient cubes like I've seen elsewhere. I've thawed the packs but I'm wondering if I should refreeze the second one and just leave the other in the fridge? Do they just need refrigeration or should they be frozen when not in use? I hope it's the former -- taking a day+ to thaw out is annoying.

If you bought them frozen I'd keep them frozen unless you're going to be using them up really fast.

Er, that's not really practical. They're all packed together in two individual packs, so it seems really ridiculous to freeze/thaw, freeze/thaw every time I want to feed them.

Wrap the frozen blocks in seran wrap or something similar then hit it with a hammer to break into small pieces. Then just thaw what you want. The packaging usually says if it has to be kept frozen or not.

I had a "slab" of frozen BWs. Just used pliers to break off a piece.

I have the pack with the small cubes. I take one out and use a kitchen knife to break off a piece of the cube. the rest immediately goes back and I haven't had any trouble
