African -Clawed- Frog tadpoles

Mike and I are worried that it may be too cold to risk shipping by the time our babies are morphed from tadpoles, and I don't have the room to overwinter what looks like will be 70+ froglets. So we're making the decision now, that we will be willing to ship tads through September and maybe early-mid October only! (they will be 3 weeks old Sept 1st)

As much as I'm not thrilled, I feel this is the safest way to rehome them to good, knowledgeable, and loving homes. I'm doing my best to avoid the petstores, because they'll sell them to any idiot with the money to pay for them and I want better than that for them.

If you want some of these guys, please let me know, and I'll make a list, first come, first serve.

HOWEVER, I will be asking questions about what kind of setup you're planning on having them in, and reserve the right to refuse an unsuitable environment.

We are located in Tecumseh, Mi and if you'd rather pickup, I can hold a number back until they're froglets if that is preferred over tadpoles, but once the weather cools off, shipping will be unavailable.

We are asking $2 each for tadpoles, $4 each for froglets.

Attached are photos of mom (brown) and dad (albino), babies are available in both colors. These are not dwarf frogs! Females reach a size of 6" and males 4.5". They have been known to live up to 30 years in captivity, and are considered highly invasive in some states!!

They are illegal without a permit in the following states:
Arizona
California
Kentucky
Louisiana
North Carolina
Oregon
Virginia
Hawaii
Nevada
Washington
New Jersey

Just a note:
At this stage of development, our wee little tadbeasties are filter feeding on spirulina and egg yolk flakes. Once these little monsters turn into frogs, they will need 10 gallons of space per frog and can live quite happily on a diet of frog pellets (I buy mine from a special laboratory that breeds frogs), supplemented with nightcrawlers, fish, shrimp, and small snails.

little albino tadpole beastie, 8 days old, and wouldn't stay away from the siphon when I was cleaning their water.

There's a lot of them

perfectly fine. I was moving it back to the tank, and decided to grab a quick photo for a size reference. They've more than doubled in size since the 11th

Just a reminder
The classifieds section is for buying and selling, NOT chit chat. If you don't intend on buying please don't waste the seller's time. If she wanted to talk about them this thread would be in a different section.

Lets try to stay on topic to what this post pertains to, buying African Clawed Frogs.
