I went to the Holland Betta Show on 16 August, it was a great day. Beautiful gardens, kois, and never to forget, the bettas! All kinds of bettas, small and big, white and rainbow. And I brought 6 cuties home with me.
I waited a few days to take the pictures, but here they are
(Sorry there are almost no flare pictures, they just didn't really want to flare in my photograph tank... Everyone has 180 degree spread and Daryl even has a little bit over that.)
Alice, a HM bred by Frantisek Baier (Czech). I'm confused of her colors, she's an angel. She seems white with a pink/red in her finnage, and she has a gold and blue/green shimmer. I think she has thick scales when you look at her, is she a normal white, an opaque or a dragon?
Daryl, a blue butterfly oHM bred by Salvatore Unali/Totto (Germany). He acts really sad in my photograph tank... He's a true beauty in his 'home' tank, but that tank's glas is a little blury... If I'm not wrong, he is the brother of the winner of the show.
This was about the most he wanted to flare (not really flaring, I know), I waited exactly 1 1/2 hour for him, I have a lot of patience so it's not a problem for me
Oliver, a cellophane red marble HMPK bred by Joep van Esch/Joepmaster (the Netherlands). He's from this spawn: BT041212
Adelin, a blue/green marble giant PK (I'm just so used to this size because of my Amy I always have this feeling normal bettas are extremely small haha
) bred by Michael Kirkham (UK). Even better, she has a moushtache!
June, a cellophane red marble HMPK bred by Joep, I think (I'm not sure) she's from this spawn: BT141212
She looks like candy, doesn't she?
Hazel, she is June's sister, and she looks like candy too!
So, what do you guys think of them?
