RIP Robby

So during the night Robby passed away, he had been really bloated for quite a few days now. Thank you everyone who advised me on how to care for him at least now he's not suffering.

So now my question today is since i have a 20 gal divided twice for my 3 guys, its now empty on one side, and i have a baby girl betta who right now is in her own 1/2 gal bowl, would it be ok to move her to the big tank with the boys???

I'm not really in the mood right now to replace the one who died and i have that empty side of the tank that was his.

Any help? Thanks.

I think it would be fine to move her into that side. I'm not sure how he died, but a good rinse of the tank and all in it might be a good idea though.
At least that's what I would do.

No i had taken him out since i had done a water change about 3 days ago and put him in a bowl until he got better or passed, so the tank is ok.

The question was more of will the males be okay with a female in the tank or will it drive them crazy with her in there?

She'll be fine with the boys as long as she can't get to them or them to her. As long as the dividers are secure there shouldn't be any problem. I'm so sorry about Robby. :(

ok, well i'm going to try her in there, i'll move her little hot pink plant over too.

My kids are taking robbys loss hard too, its their first pet to die.

I'm so sorry for your kids. I think its especially hard for kids to lose a pet. Maybe they can have a little service for him.

We just had a little funeral for Robby, my oldest made him a little note and we buried him in the backyard, she couldn't comprehend flushing him.

Also i tried to put Isa in the big tank and that tiny little girl squeezed herself right behind the divider, lol, and i thought it was flush with the glass, i scooped her out right away and tico didn't even notice she made it to his side. She's went right back to her bowl, i'll have to make some adjustments before we try putting her in again.
