Please Help

My betta Feliciano has not eaten for 5 days now and I am very worried about him. His tail is clear at the bottom but not falling off. I have been giving him medication and changed the food I usually give him but he cant eat it he just spits it up as if it hurts him, hes also not as energetic as he normaly is. Can anyone please help me? He has been sic before but He got better I just hope there might be someting I could do for him.

Well first thing is bettas are tropical fish, they need water that is about 80* at all times. If their water gets too cold they become lethargic. So my first suggestion would be to get a thermometer and a heater and see if that perks him up. Also I would not recommend adding AQ salt unless he is ill. It's not good for them to have all the time. Same goes for the medication, unless you know exactly what you are treating for I would not use it.

So warm clean water with nothing but water conditioner in it should be step 1
