OHHH Im very tempted.

Ok so I recently came up with $300 and I need something to spend it on Well I was going to start a 20g cichlid tank but decided not too, then I was going to justdo a 20g neon tank but decided not too, then I was going to do a 55g god knows what tank but decided I was too poor.

So I was thinking today,"Hmm, what if I go on aquabid and buy the prettiest bettas I can find." well after a little looking around, and what appears to be a smaller selection on aquabid I found this auction. AquaBid.com - Your Aquatic Auction Website

For just $62 I get a pair of White HMPL and a pair of Red Dragon pair shipped to my door.

I basically would buyit right now if I trusted the guy, and my mom was willing, I would buy them now. See I kinda dont trust him because he has 6 different auctions of a bunch of different color HMPLs and an auction on a 20-30 pack of veiltails for $20 and a sale for 4 Piranhas, and a few other auctions, but he has no feedback. I dont why it just doesnt feel right. But god those fish are pretty.

Pretty! I would go with your gut too. If it just doesn't feel right, then just keep looking.

Well you need to find a reputable seller. They should have some sort of contact info.

http://www.bettatalk.com/selecting_a_seller.htm this is a good guide for choosing a good seller.

I bought Merlin from a seller named Koblarp1960
He's not always selling, he's a very good breeder. But if you ever see him selling, his fish are great and come in awesome condition. Merlin's doing great! =D
Good luck

Yeah I don't like many bettas on aquabid. I found Merlin and just HAD to have him. But I haven't come across any others like that. I guess all there is to do is to just keep on looking.

I have been looking on auqabid myself, since getting my 1st betta as a gift i would really like to get another one. I guess even with checking feedback you take a chance of getting a poor fish. Goodluck in your search IonBaller

Oh, and the breeder I got Merlin from, has a website if you wanna check it out. You gotta have paypal though. But here it is, he doesn't have much...he just started the site not too long ago. www.dang99.com
