Talking Not sure if this is a mustard gas?

I got this guy yesterday at walmart, and I've never seen one colored like him before, so I had to get him. Someone else was actually about to take him, but left, then as I was going up to the counter, I saw him walking back to the aisle the fish were at.

Sorry about the picture quality, he moves around a lot, and it's a little dark in my room. He's a bit brighter than he is in the picture.

No, not a mustard gas, just a bi-color and actually might be a multi-color because of that reddish pink patch on his head.

Mustard gas has to have a blue body, orange/yellow fins at the beginning and then a blue or black band all the way around the edge of the fins to encase the yellow/orange.

This boy is pretty though!

Ah, ok thanks. :)
The description for MGs I found online were pretty confusing. I think he's a butterfly though? I'm not sure if his spots count against that.

The spots do count against it so he's just a multi-colored Betta. He could be a butterfly with the orange but it looks like it's not a defined line between the blue and orange which counts against being butterfly as well.

But yeah the information is confusing since Mustard Gas technically doesn't exist but it does at the same time. It's weird. The original MG though was a blue body, orange fins with a very defined dark blue edge band around the tail. Now a day's anything that's blue body and orange on it's fin goes as MG even if it doesn't have the blue band around the edge but then it's not a true MG. So there are True MG's now and not true ones. The guy in my avatar is very close to a True MG, when you see him normally he does have a more defined line between his blue and the orange but then some of his blue grizzles into the orange but it's only seen when the lights are just right
