Yeah, it's fine. Just follow the dosing instructions on the bottle. I can't remember what it was...maybe a capful per 10 gallons or something like that. If you have something smaller than a 10 gallon you might have to do a little math.

I over-use my water conditioner (Stress Coat). No problems there.

I think those betta water conditioners are a waste of time and money.

I use Prime. It's very concentrated too. You only use 2 drops per gallon.

I have used AquaSafe by Tetra and been very careful with dosing and lost 6 fish since. I used r/o no conditoner in a hanging bubble and my fish lived until his water likely just got to hot. then I used the aqua safe and again dead baby. I am switching to prime. I am not 100% sure it's the aquasafe that got them and Rusty is fine in it despite a little fin rot at the moment.

I was nearly convinced it was the aquasafe but Rusty seems to be proving me wrong so I don't know.

Sorry that didn't help much but maybe it offers something.

I like the fact that you only have to use 2 drops of Prime. I was using 7 drops of Aquasafe per gallon.

I use Top Fin Betta Water Conditioner. It comes in 160 ml and I need about 1 a month. At $3 each and having a 5, 10 and a 29 gallon tank that is not a lot of money at all. Even if I needed 2 a month then I would consider tht just enough money.

I basically spend 3 conditioner, 10 on Food so that is only 13 a month on Fish supplies

The bottle of Prime that I got didn't have a dropper type of top so I put some in an empty Stresscoat bottle. So now I can measure in drops.
