Noticed something...

Now I dunno what it means if anything,but I been feeding him every other day. The first time I gave him hikari and next day he was fine,swam normal all that.

The next time i fed him top fin (petsmart brand). Well the next day,all day he was tail up. Swimming around but it was like his tail end couldnt stay down for anything. He kept floating up to the top. He even had clamped fins.

So i didnt feed him yesterday,and today he is back to normal. So I am wondering,if maybe the top fin pellets are bad?? and maybe couldve caused problems for Morado or my others? Or am I insane. I pitched the stuff anyways.

I was going to ask if maybe the food had spoiled or something. It's so strange that a whole string of your fish became ill in a row!!! Hopefully you figured out the problem!

IDK either,but it is interesting. Well I am getting rid of all top fin pellets to be safe LOL.

It sounds like its definitely a possibility to me. That food could have had something in it. I suppose fish food could become contaminated too, just like our food. I hope you found the problem. I never liked top fin food.lol

Yeah,could be! I was just using it up since i had it still,but no more. Fishy,Roja and Reba have been fine though,no ill effects,so I just dont know. Maybe the others were more susceptible for some reason? I mean with Elvis though,major factor was no heat for days,which left him very susceptible to bacteria,fungus,etc. So I dont think the food really had anything to do with him,but maybe with Bella and Morado.
