i was woundering if any of you guys have mables n your tank i do and there bigger then normal and my fish rools them around the tank like a show ball is this normal i think its cute

Aqua tries to do that, or move them then hide where they were. yeah it is cute.

What will get stuck under marbles is uneaten food if not removed with siphon or turkey baster.Many,,myself included, believe fish are not accustomed to light reflecting back from the bottom of the tank off shiny objects such as marbles or some of the smooth shiny rocks that some place in the bottom of their tanks. Is possible they aren't playing with the marbles as much as they are attempting to move them so that light doesn't reflect back at them.

That is something I never thought of. That is a really good thought of what could be going on.

Which is exactly why I'd never use marbles, gemstones, etc. They may be pretty to look at but as far as fish are concerned it should always be function over fashion, IMHO.

I wouldn't mind switching to gravel but I don't have a gravel vac so it would be hard to clean. I guess I could get one! lol

They aren't very expensive. I got mine for a couple dollars at Petsmart.

I guess I'll have to get one. Turkey basters just don't get up all the debris.
