I read fishyinpa
's thread on kH and gH, but my question is probably more basic(no pun intended
A week ago, I did the water test for Neptune's tank and the levels were:
Last night I did a test (I did this cos we were away for the long weekend and I had not changed his water in 5 days), and the readings showed:
NH3- 0.5 (range bet 0.25 & 0.5)
Is the pH a cause for concern? Irrespective, we'll do a 50% water change after the salt bath today, but I just wanted to be better informed as to what the 'safe zones' are.
Though Neptune is doing well, it's a case of one fin healing and another one tearing. Now, it's the tail fin that's not doing well. I'm looking forward to the day he gets all his fins in full flow. Sigh!
