Swollen Gill?

I've not delt with this issue before, but Azrael's left gill (his left) looks almost as if his beard won't fit into it. Does that make since? He looks as though it won't lay down all the way on that side.

He is flaring normally, eating normally, acting normally, swimming normally. Etc. His face is so dark it's hard for me to see much. Shined a flashlight on it as best as I could and it def looks inflamed up underneath.

Did a 100% water change 2 days ago. Did a 30% water change today.


What now?


Going out of town RIGHT now until Sunday so I'll be sure to try and check this ASAP.

OH and yesterday and today he had a rockin bubble next going so I'm assuming he's feeling at least OKAY

Add a little extra salt to the water, and some bettafix if you have it, before you go away.

If he's acting normal it is probably no more than an annoyance to him. Like when a person gets a pimple on the inside of their nose.
