Talking Brand new everything! (big photos!!)

Hello! I've been browsing around the forums for a few days and this is my first thread and post! I just got a betta fish last Friday at a local pet store. He's my first fish so it's all scary and exciting<3 I've named him Caesar and he's a veil tail. He's blue and in the right light you can see his other shades of blue and gold specks!

Caesar lives in a 2.5 Gallon plastic tank with a fake rock cave with fake plants attached. I don't have a heater for him but it's so hot in my room, he doesn't need one until the weather cools down in the fall. I did buy a filter for him just so his tank doesn't get nasty too quickly, but even though it's suppose to be gentle, the current is way too much for the poor guy.

Anyways, I've posted a few photos to share, so enjoy<33 ^O^

His tank looks like a half gallon I used to keep one of mine in. I didn't know they made them that big O_o.

Pretty fish and nice tank. Welcome to the forum :)

I was thinking the same thing. That looks like one of the half gallons I have for quarantines.

Thank-you everyone!!<3

The lady at the pet shop at first was trying to sell me this dinky 1/2 gallon because it came with a kit, but I wanted to give him decent room x3 I had to buy everything separate so it cost way more than I would've thought for a fish D: but it's worth it<3
