Soo what kind of water conditioner do you use?

I have been using Stress Coat+ by Aquarium Pharmaceuticals.

I'm thinking about switching to NovAqua Plus.

What do you guys use and what do you recommend?

Stick with Stress Coat. Since it's stressful to change water conditioner and I REALLY LIKE Stress Coat ;)

I used stress coat, leaves a weird film at the top of the tank. The aloe maybe?
I normally use Novaqua+ and Amquel+. Good stuff!! If you are cycling Amquel+ messes with API's ammonia test, but other than that its good.

Maybe the aloe. I have never had that problem with it.
