HELP! Im really worried about my new betta!

I just bought a new betta today. he is a very pretty Crown tail. I got him from mijers or myjers or however you spell it. He looked great when he was in his tiny bowl so i took him home. He is in his new tank now. 1 1/2 gallon. filter. I dont have a thermometer but im guessing the water is like the other tank 79 degrees. He is swimming aroung looking at everything. his eyes are HUGE. they look abnormally big. they aren't bulging, but they are big and black and you can barely see the color around what i think are his pupals. Is this popeye? or what. what can i do to help him? He swims around for a while and then just lays on the bottom. swims around and does the same thing.

Ive had Bettas with jet black eyes before, kinda spooky looking.

get us a picture and we can go from there, pop eye is a symptom not an illness or disease.

Its best to know what the main problem is because there is no true solid treatment for it unless you know what is causing the symptoms.

My girl (betta) has all black eyes and it makes her look like a cute doll :)
I think it makes her like one of those japanese anime characters cuz her whole eye is black and big! I think it's so adorable looking. Haha ^^

Sorry i cant get a picture. :( hopefully is is just how he was born. he is healthy other than that
